Fashion Blabbage #009: Valentine's Day rambling
I haven't done one of these in a while! Happy Valentine's day everyone! I was thinking to myself what in Second Life was I gonna do for a post today, if at all, and just giving some rambling came to mind. I'm not really sure if people even read this [they probably are lucky if they don't read my mess] but I enjoy doing this sometimes, so I am gonna keep it going!
It's valentine's day, and thou I know there are people with opposing feelings to this day between happiness and anger, there seems to be a a bit of something for everyone this year. Two of the cutest events I've seen for valentine's this month were Belle and Cupid Inc, with the latter being my favorite since you could gift people things from the event, even concealing your identity and making yourself a secret admirer. The gift presentation set up for Cupid Inc was super adorable and well thought out, as well as the process for receiving the gift. I hope to see more events like that in future years for valentines and maybe even other events like Christmas! I loved to see the variety of items for both events, from flowers to outfits, and even something for the naughty and kinky. The outfit I'm wearing in this post is from Belle specifically.
On the other side of the spectrum, MadPea in specific had a cute combination of valentine and anti-valentine themed shopping with their 14 Days of Love Calendar, and the
Lonely Hearts Club, keeping shopping open for people of both moods.
Regardless of if you spend this day in either world, cuddled up with someone you love, with friends, or protesting the consumerism or misery of the holiday, I hope everyone takes time out to reflect and realize that showing our love to others should happen everyday, especially to ourselves!
